I live in Eastern Canada which is desperately needing some rain and we're supposed to get some overnight and into tommorrow, and in Western Canada in Fort McMurray about 3400 miles away which is extremely dry too is in a major fire with thousands of people that had mandatory evacuations this morning with only a half hour to get out. Over 80 homes have burned up already thankfully no injuries or loss of life but the fire is still raging. We all know that we can't control something like this but we can control what we do with our lives and I read this article this morning about PLAYING RUSSIAN ROULETTE, it's talking about alcoholics which I am a recovering alcoholic with over 5 yrs sober but in my opinion this also applys to smoking. It is the deadly game that on a dare, the first player inserts a bullet in the chamber of a six or nine shot revolver, spins the chamber, jams the barrel against his temple and squeezes the trigger. If he is lucky, the second player follows suit, then a third until everyone has taken the risk of someone being killed. Taking our first drag is something like that, I have no idea of what the difference in the odds would be but the penalty is alot worse because instead of dying quickly, we most likely would die a lingering death that could take months or even yrs of mental and physical torment so let's keep stacking up our precious days of freedom from the dreaded nicotine poison because there's definitely life after cigarettes and it's super fantastic, so let's always remain vigilant and protect our precious quits with our lives because our lives absolutely depends on it.

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
