Share your quitting journey
I was thinking about this new year that we're in and all of lifes challenges that will pop up and how I will deal with whatever may come up on lifes terms without the crutch of cigarettes and I am so thankful for this site and everyone here that helped me get to where I am today. I was 14 when I started playing around with smoking thinking how cool I was, I was basically smoking at least 10 cigarettes a day at 15, then I got married the first time at 16, I'm sure for the next 40 yrs, I was smoking 25 to 35 a day except when I was stressed which I am sure was 40 to 50 a day so quitting smoking for you and for me is a huge deal and keeping and protecting our precious forever quits is vital to our health and quality of living, our lives depends on remaining smoke free. N.O.P.E - ( Not One Puff Ever ) - so let's be sure and - ( Never Ever Forget ) - N.E.F, life is way too short to slowly kill ourselves with smoking when we can do something about it, we can enjoy life on lifes terms. Once we decide to quit smoking and have prepared ourselves for our day one knowing that no matter what comes up in life good or bad that we will never ever smoke another cigarette as long as we live. I promised myself the night before my quit date that I would never pick up another cigarette as long as I live and I don't break promises to anyone including myself so here I am closing in on a yr and a half and enjoying my life as an Exer, if I can do it anybody can, you won't regret it.
