~~She decided to start living the life she imagined.~~  Unknown

One filled with color and light!!  One filled with dancing and joy!!  One filled with happy and sunshine!!

Welcome to the life I imagined.  My living room...well, my whole house....is filled with colorful furniture and pretty, fun pictures.  My blinds stay open.  I enjoy yoga daily.  I find someone to dance with or I dance alone all the time.  And I feel joy and gladness each and every day, even in the most stressful times.

Are you living the life you imagine?  Are you surrounded by the people, places, and things that make you happy?  Do you find joy in your days?  Have you broken out of the  routine of life into the delights of life?

I know I talk about these things a lot....joy, yoga, dancing...etc...., but there truly is a reason behind it.  When you make that choice to quit smoking, things change.  Either you steer yourself to the "oh my gosh I am so terrified and anxious and stressedoutthatIdon'tthinkIcandoit", or you begin to create a world that you can not only quit smoking in but that you begin to love.

The "can't do it because I'm too anxious" world can come quickly or it can take time.  If you find yourself thinking of smoking more and more rather than less and less, pay attention!  If you find that you have nothing good to fall back on when you are craving nicotine, pay attention!  People lose quits even at 180 days...300 days....and so on.

The "living the life you imagined" world is built little by little as you get to know your hidden-behind-smoke self.  The smoke clears and you remember that you always loved to draw.  The smoke clears and you clean your house and buy cheerful little curtains.  The smoke clears and you adore your smelling good self so you decide to exercise it.  Before you know it, you are surrounded by the life you love!

I've created the life I love....and my life loves me right back.  It's truly good.  I wish each and every one of you the truly good as well.  Keep your quit...because it gets so much better!!  Develop your talents, gain some new interests, build strong friendships.  Look forward and not back to the smoking days.  They did nothing for you except keep you hooked on nicotine.

Have a very blessed day, my friends!!  Don't forget to visit Shawn's bonfire!!  Sheri
