I tried to research if he was a smoker but couldn't find anything.
They said he died of Kidney Disease.
Well - he lived to 90 so I would assume that he was not a smoker, but that is only an assumption. RIP - Don Rickles
According to Maxim - he said he quit smoking (didn't say when he'd quit). So I guess he was an EXer.

I believe at one point he was a smoker. Checked online says he did not.
I don't ever remember seeing him smoke. He did all those celebrity roasts where there was a lot of smoking He accidently broke Johnny Carson's Cigarette box filling in as a guest host on the "Tonight Show"
Gosh, he used to make me cringe and laugh just about simultaneously, he was a really funny man. Ninety is certainly a long life. RIP Mr. Rickles.
