I used the patch for 7 days. I was having radiating pain at the patch site (from dull like arthritis to sharp like a Charlie horse). My doctor told me to stop using the patch.
The first 2 days after removing the patch I was a crazy person! I felt like I had missed a week of my meds! The anxiety was over exaggerated!
I went to the store to try some gum or lozenges and I read the packages. It mentioned decreasing the effectiveness of depression medicine. I assumed that it must have the same effect on my anxiety meds…that would explain the behavior.
