The Meaning of Easter

Easter, also called Pascha (Greek, Latin) or Resurrection Sunday, is a festival and holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day after his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c. 30 AD.

Thank you Jesus for coming into my life and saving me from eternal damnation. I’ve got a lot of problems and a lot of issues. But leaving them at the foot of the cross I know that I don’t have to face them alone and that you are there with me and love me and won’t ever leave me.
