Painful situations and unforgiveness towards those who have hurt us can quickly foul up a quit. Especially if our "go-to" in these situations was a cigarette.
We need to love ourselves enough to forgive, and to let go~
It will help us stay true to our quit~
Thank you indingrl.01.06.2011 :-)

Thank you Marilyn.H.July.14.14. I hope it was helpful to someone who might be struggling with unforgiveness as they are also working at quitting cigarettes.

Thank you...such a great reminder
Yes, I find it's helpful in my journey and hoped it would be of help to others. Thanks for your response to my post :-)
Yes, so true! Thanks Suzy!!
And I've also ASKED for forgiveness, after learning I used to stink up my daughter's spare room every time I visited, even though I smoked outside. Forgiveness for myself came later.
Oh Gosh AnnetteMM, I know just what you mean! In smoking outside at my son's house when I visited, I just never gave a thought as to what my belongings from home--and even the clothes I wore there, let alone my body itself-- did to the air quality of that bedroom! Also, the person it's hardest to forgive is always ourselves..glad you were able to do that :-)
So true and well put SuzyQ411 thank you
Thanks Cousin-Itt ! I know it's been helpful to me...glad I was able to share this :-)
