Put a RockyRoad on the end of that stick and just warm the chocolate.please.
Slightly cooked and mealty yum...
Burnt around the edges and sticky, gooey inside. Oh, I SO remember those!! Been years since I have so indulged. We actually never had S'mores - just the toasted marshmallows. Oh, YUM, though! Been years since I have built a fire, too! Might be something to think about!!!!
Be STILL my heart!
Beautiful JACKIE1-25-15 !
I think I am the only person in the world who doesn't like toasted, heated, burnt or even warmed marshmallows. Does that make me a bad person? lol
You probably don't like rocky roads either?
Actually I'm not crazy about Rocky Road, but I always ADORED Annabelle's. Same family made them (named after their granddaughter), only they didn't have nuts in the chocolate. Can't find a picture of them. Big red package with ANNABELLE written on it. It was the precursor to the Rocky Road. I'd buy them by the case and eat one a day. Kept them in the fridge (or was it the freezer?) so the chocolate was slightly crunchy. This beautiful thin layer of crunch and then into the soft. They were SO GOOD! And I was mucho disappointed when they stopped making them. So I'm not a total marshmallow misfit.
The picture I put up above your reply IS ANNABELLE'S
The crunch in the chocolate is little bits of cashews.
Rocky Road is made by Annabelle's Candy Company. Annabelle's was the name of the Candy Bar of which I'm speaking.
Did you see the picture?
Here's what the original wrapper looked like:

I wasn't going for ancient history.
The picture I put up came from a link directly to Amazon where they sell cases of 24.
Oh, YUM - just riiiiiight!
(but you could never be a bad person!!)
I like them cooked through with a nice brown skin on them. I have been known to eat them charred, but it's not my first choice. The only other way I like marshmallows is in hot chocolate.
I have been known to toast them on the stove...lightly toasted, soft inside. I don't like S'Mores but I LOVE marshmallows and Marshmallow Fluff in cocoa.
My ex-husband used to eat marshmallow fluff and peanut butter sandwiches.....never did decide what I thought about them - except my, were they sweet!
One of my daughters eats nutella fluff and peanut butter
My husband LOVES Fluff & peanut butter.
Well done on the outside, gooey in the middle. The BEST EVER :-)
