WaynenMary Unfortunately, not any longer. They can still browse as guests(except EU) but we had to make changes that do not allow them to join the site. Those who already had accounts prior to the change are still able to use it unless they are part of the EU.

Thank you @mark
I found this from when the GDPR went into effect: https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/message/226571-re-site?commentID=226571#comment-226571
Thank you we have quitters on Quitnet that are not in the USA
I wonder how they have been connecting since this went into effect?! Did Quitnet jump through the hoops to allow it, I wonder?
I have no idea, but we have members ranging from Canada, israel, Amsterdam, India, and more I just cant remember. I just wish we could all be here.
YoungAtHeart That post is partially correct. WaynenMary Wish they could too!
GDPR: People in European Union cannot access the site at all. If they were members previously we blocked their access.
Non-US Access: We restricted registration access outside the US earlier this year due to some required policy changes. Existing non-US/non-EU members can continue to participate but new members who live outside the US and outside the EU can only view the site as a guest and cannot register any longer.

So what you're saying is that I should count myself lucky to be one of "the few" outsiders! (Smiley face)
