I wrote a blog, but now I can’t find it. I REALLY don’t like this format!!!! So after well-over 900 days free, Last night I had multiple terrifyingly real smoke dreams. Now I’m irritable, having cravings and smelling the dreaded phantom cig smoke. This addiction is no joke! Words of wisdom, anyone? Help me get out of this funk!
Use the tools that proved useful early in your quit! Go for a walk, do a few jumping jacks, play a computer game....whatever it takes. Don't let that smoking thought stay in your brain unchallenged.
This IS a life long journey - and, as addicts, smoking memories will happen. Dismiss them with a shake of your head, say (aloud if possible) "I don't DO that anymore" and get busy. You KNOW you don't want to smoke - so get busy doing something ELSE.

P.S. And remind yourself how difficult those early days were ---- I know you don't want to have to go through another Day One!
