Sounds like you are testing the waters as to how to get to your quit. Keep working it.

Have you set a quit date?  Do you have a  plan? NRT or None?  Med's?  Have you started reading the suggested material.  If you educate yourself early on about nicotine addiction it can make a big difference in making the quitting process a lot easier.

Start first, by educating yourself about nicotine addiction.

Education is the key to a successful quit.

Read: Freedom from Nicotine My Journey Home and Nicotine Addiction 101

Here are the links: http://whyquit.com/whyquit/LinksAAddiction.html   and http://whyquit.com/ffn/

I also encourage you to read. Allen Carr’s book, “Easy Easier Way to Quit Smoking”.

Keep at it and don't give up!  Think about taking puffs as a way that PROLONGS WITHDRAWAL.  THE SMOKE CAUSES THE NEED TO HAVE ANOTHER SMOKE!    It helps me to think this way.  The poison makes me want more poison so if I stay away from the poison I can be free from the poison.  Freeing thoughts your way!

peace and grace...
