Tips on dealing with nausea?

Hi everyone! Thanks for all of your comments on my last post about dealing with old smoking groups. Everything posted was very helpful, and I appreciate it.

Today I wanted to ask about nausea during the early quit phase. Does anyone has any ideas on how to make this better?

Today is my 7th day smoke free. For the past 3 days or so, I've been waking up with nausea in the mornings. It generally goes away by noon, but it is difficult to deal with on the way to work everyday. I'm eating healthy (more than usual, but healthy) and haven't introduced significant changes into my diet.

Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks again, and cheers to one week smoke free!

Ok. There are many things that can cause nausea. Is it confined to your stomach or is it more like heartburn nausea?

It's not heartburn related, no.

Nope, I went cold turkey.

Our digestive system is thrown off when it does not get the nicotine. Peristalsis can slow. Some get more flatulence.

Unsure about the nausea. Give it a few more days and see if it clears up. If not try to see someone next week?
