CREAMED PEAS
Melt the butter in a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Once melted and foamy, add the onion, garlic, and red pepper flakes and saute until tender, about 2 to 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add the heavy cream and let thicken, stirring for just 1 minute.
Add the peas and the mint and cook until the peas are bright green and warmed through, another 5 minutes.
Yummy! This reminds me of a dish I used to make for the holiday table with my family. Growing up in a Greek household we used lots of mint (grew it outside the kitchen even!) in our everyday cooking also.
I always had to prepare my friends who might come to dinner about it. We even put the mint in the spaghetti sauce!

Brilliant, I am going to make this, but without the cream. I love peas. I make a spag with basil pesto and peas. Give peas a chance.!!!
