Hey Debra, what helped me was taking it one hour at a time, one day at a time, sometimes one minute at a time. I had to want to not smoke more than I wanted to smoke. My quit date was may 16, and so far so good. Was tough at the start, but kept reminding myself that i wanted to not smoke more than I wanted to smoke. The nerves will not kill us I learned too.
