You are lucky to have a grandson you can see. I have 3 grands that live 45 mins from me, but in a different state. The parents won't let me see them -- haven't seen them in 5 years since the eldest was 5. That got me smoking again. I plan on rebuilding my life cigarette free so I can move on. My quit date was June 20th and so far, so good.
I remember when my only child, a son, said the same thing to me when he was about 9. I was so hooked then that i didn't even listen to him. That is sad.
