It's an adjustment not having the Q.  For many, we are still a bit shocked, even though we knew..

and sometimes even when you know, …. when the event happens.. it takes time to adjust.

For me, The Ex's format is highly different. I am learning everyday. I make plenty of mistakes.

Let's cool, 

Have a marshmallow or two? or more?  I do know some people hide their marshmallows. Some might even Borrow yours, take a lick and give it back!

It's late in the day here and I just read your post. I do hope all's well with your Mom. Having an ill parent hits us at so many levels. It is a difficult place to be. I am hopeful you were able to get through this crisis without smoking. As others have said, take deep breaths. Also drink ice water,and take walks (if even just down the hospital halls.) When you have the time, please keep us posted on your Mom's status. We care.

dh went for surgery

he's ok

but I really hate the moment (s) when a loved one is under anesthesia

will they surface?

it's nerve wracking

he surfaced yesterday

it's been a day since surgery

and he's doing much better (Thank God)

but I feel my nerves are still rattling

but he's ok 

maybe after writing this

I can breathe

better
