I was also a young-one when I started smoking. I started smoking at a party when I was 15. A friend gave me a marboro red and from then on been smoking nearly a pack a day. Being in the state of Virginia (a tobacco state) and near Norfolk (a military city) I was never encouraged to quit by my friends but instead I was encouraged to light up. After smoking for nearly four years I decided to quit. Today is day one as an ex and day five after my decision to cut down. I am down to five cigarettes a day and plan to quit by the end of August.
