Give and get support around quitting
I quit this morning and made it three hours. I was debating whether I should do an evening or morning last cigarette. I just did morning in the end because I had smokes left over. I made it three hours then went and bought smokes. SO, changing it up this time and doing an evening quit. When I have made it past the first day before, I have quit in the evening. I like waking up to already having 8+ hours of FREEDOM. It motivates me to keep going more than having that cigarette in the morning gets me moving.
Anyway, I wanted to say hello to all, make the declaration of my quit public, and wish everyone luck with their quits.
How are you doing now? I had to taper off for about 3 weeks around the 1st of June and got Chantix and gum, but quit the gum 3 weeks ago. I quit June 20th and haven't slipped. Staying away from people who smoke or around areas where smoke is has helped alot.
If I can provide any ideas what i'm going through to help you or what I did - let me know.
This is my 3rd quit and I’m sticking to it. Never give up you can beat it.
