Give and get support around quitting
Several years ago, I had a situation where I spent time in the ER due to chest pain, which turned out to be acid (kinda like now). I did a follow up with a cardiologist a few days later, which included an exercise stress test. He asked me if I smoked and I embarrassingly said yes. He gave me a look and said, "You do realize you're a ticking time bomb, right?"
I thought about that today and how I like being less of a ticking time bomb.
Here's to not ticking!

Day 146
Reminds me to add that I took BP medicine for YEARS when I smoked. It took over 3 years before I went off the medication after I quit, but it was 127/70 last week when taken at the ortho's office - no medication.
Just ANOTHER benefit of quitting!
