Give and get support around quitting
Ok day 1 has come and gone without a single vape. A few craves here and there, but by and large pretty manageable. Onward to day 2!
i am focusing on cleaning out my lungs and breathing in just air. nothing but air! Enough with the poison!
who else is psyched to quit?
It ain’t easy, but isn’t reclaiming our health worth it?
Enough with paying for poison!
Right there with you! I’m a couple weeks in and the cravings got worse for me after a couple days and then went down to only when there is a reminder or trigger. What helped me was literally just getting rid of the vape. Still triggered when I see a vape store or see e-cigs at the mini-marts though. But I just buy myself a water or something when I want to buy an e-cig. Stay strong! You can do it and just stick with it and ride through the cravings. Let me know of any other things that help you
I thank you! I’m really enjoying Alan Carr’s book—-essentially we have a
paradigm shift and finally feel free as opposed to being enslaved. So I
will allow my body to detox and let the urges come and go- all the while
feeling finally liberated.

Kudos on Day 2. Yes, that Carr book really helps to give us a new perspective. Part of the reason we talk about educating ourselves is because that's exactly what we get from it: different perspectives. You sound good. Stand tall!
