Sense of smell and taste

Did anyone lose their sense of smell or taste during their withdrawal stage?

You and others are very right. I guess the frustration of all that’s going on with my body has me wanting a quick answer. I am the type to run to my doctor for every little thing so no worries there. I was hoping for an easier path to getting smoke free but nothing is easy. I know I know. It will be worth it. I sure hope my sense of smell and taste return. The only thing I can count on now is enjoying eating. Ugh!

Hannahkim12345 Frozen grapes are REALLY good!  You also might try eating six smaller meals a day with each having a bit of protein and a fruit/veggie.  Things like almonds and a slice of pear, or apples and peanut butter, or a bit of chicken and some celery sticks will help to keep your blood sugar level and will provide lots of opportunities to munch without adding carb calories.  Keep a cold bottle of water handy from which to sip ALL the time.  Sometimes that's all it takes to satisfy the munchies.
