I’ve been dependent on you since I stopped smoking actual cigarettes. You were comforting when I became sober and helped me through so many hard times, but I got to comfortable. We should have never let it get that far. You’re ruining my health, my chances of conceiving and starting a family with my husband, slowing down my pace with my exercise routines, and ultimately controlling my life. When I lose you I go crazy trying to find you because I can’t imagine a second without you in my hand. This has to end. 2022 is about bettering myself, and with this as my goal, we must say our goodbyes. Goodbye old friend. You won’t be missed.
