Like YoungAtHeart‌, I am in the Midatlantic in Virginia and I have seen rare glimpses of the sun over the past couple of weeks but mostly clouds and rain, rinse and repeat.  We are supposed to continue this pattern through Wednesday but considering what people in North Carolina and South Carolina are enduring...I really don't think we can complain...much.

I just found my Birkenstocks with mold in spots on the suede and on the footbed in my mudroom (there is a storm door open just a bit in there).   I amend any previous statements that I am in DANGER of molding.  It has officially begun!!!

I think they are calling for the sun to come out on Wednesday (although it did a bit of peeking today!!!).  It will be THREE weeks of damp this Friday!!!  We have to get through the remnants of Florence first.

NOT complaining though - those poor folks in the Carolinas!
