Get ready for your quit date on 5/7/23-5/8/23

Hi again!

You've probably seen a message from me previously welcoming you to the community. From what I can see it appears your quit date is coming up within a week from now.  To get ready for that date it's good to prepare yourself. Below is a list of things you can do to prepare yourself for your quit date. Other EXperienced quitters of the EX Community may come along and share their quit wisdom as well. Keep an open mind as you start an amazing journey!

• Fill out your community profile  and Upload your own Avatar or have us set one for you via Avatar Quest.
• Get really familiar with your My EX Plan | BecomeAnEX  and complete as many steps as possible. 
• Get reading both on My EX Plan | BecomeAnEX  and here on the EX Community(especially the Best of EX)
• Prepare a Quit kit.
• Ensure you have NRT (if you plan on using it). You may need to call 800-QUIT-NOW if your employer/health plan provider doesn't sponsor you here on EX. Look for Sponsorship section under Edit Profile.
• Plan out a routine change.
• Have a list of craving busters and craving buster techniques.
• Prevent Relapse and check out Relapse Prevention.
• Bookmark the EX Community so you can get back here quickly when you have a craving.
• Prepare your friends and family and write a letter to a loved one.
• Write a goodbye letter to vaping/smoking/chewing.  Unsure how to start, get some more inspiration.
• What To Expect In The First Four Months.
• Read about other's quit journeys.
• Start your Quit Journal here on EX and journal your quit journey.
• Ask a general Quit Question in Support, Ask a question or read others questions in Quitting Methods or Have a health condition that condition your facing while quitting? Check out Health Conditions.
• Create a Mantra and a Nicotine Free Vision for your quit journey.

If I've somehow gotten your quit date wrong, my apologies. Please ensure your quit date is up-to-date by following these steps:

1. Ensure your quit date is set on My EX Plan.
2. Come back to the community.
3. Go to your Avatar Image (round picture in upper right of page and click My Profile)
4. Check on your profile to see if the date appears correctly.
