Get ready for your quit date on 5/5/21

Hi again!

You've probably seen a message from me previously welcoming you to the community. From what I can see it appears your quit date is coming up in a week from now.  To get ready for that date it's good to prepare yourself. Below are a short list of things you can do to prepare yourself for your quit date. Other EXperienced quitters of the EX Community may come along and share their quit wisdom as well. Keep an open mind as you start an amazing journey!

If I've somehow gotten your quit date wrong, my apologies. Please ensure your quit date is up to date by following these steps:

  1. Ensure your quit date is set on My EX Plan.
  2. Come back to the community.
  3. Go to your Avatar Image (round picture in upper right of page and click My Profile)

I can’t figure out how to find any discussions. I keep looking at support but all I see are posts that people respond to. But I see there are people on line. I just want to join a chat with people who understand my anxiety the day before I’m quitting. I could really use the support right now but can’t find it

Welcome to the Ex @Bubbles318    If you want to create a post under Support, just click on "Support" the red box to Create a Post.   Or on the top of the home page there is a blue box "Post a Journal or Blog" and enter your post there.  This will get your message out to the community so you can receive support from other quitters.

Have you quit smoking or are you still in the planning stages?   If you haven't done already, read about nicotine addiction and create a quit plan with the tools you'll use and the new associations you'll create instead of smoking.

Mark included all the links you'll need in this post to get you started on the right track.   Also taking the Daily Pledge each day is a great way to begin your daily journey successfully.

We're here to support you.  Just reach out anytime you need support or want to share your experience.
