Give and get support around quitting
Hi everyone today is Day 1 not smoking I have prepared myself for this I feel I am ready. I don't get any craving, just feeling very tired. And that is not me I am always in the go, doing something. Keeping myself busy
Tiredness is a normal part of the withdrawal process. Here is a link to other early withdrawal symptoms you might find helpful: https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/groups/best-of-ex/blog/2013/01/21/early-withdrawal-symptoms.
If you are not using nicotine replacement, your body is adjusting to life without the nicotine. It takes a bit to get through it - but it WILL end!
Congratulations on your #1 Quit Day!
Stay with it!

Congratulations and welcome to EX, we are so happy you are here. Many people are very tired as the nicotine leaves their systems. You are in good hands with all of the advice you have received above.

Be sure you log out and log back in and your updated quit date should show in your profile. When you update your quit date it doesn't sync to the community until the next time you log in. If your login info is saved it doesn't automatically sync.

Mark, in my best Robert DeNiro impression, "You talkin' to me?" I am leaving for work. I never sign out of EX until the end of the day when I sign out of everything and clear my cache. I am leaving for work...YUCK.
Happy Monday.
