Give and get support around quitting

Committment & Perservence Works

I'm so thankful that quitting smoking and remaining quit is doable it's definetly not easy by any stretch of the imagination in those early days and weeks of quitting smoking BUT as long as we are willing determined and totally committed to succeed then there's no way any of us will FAIL! I remember only too well how horrendous it was in my early weeks and I hope that we all will remember and N.E.F~Never Ever Forget~because None of US ever has to ever go back to another Day ONE Ever~Vigilance is key to remaining Smokefree plus Relapsing isn't the answer EVER!

How interesting.  I was looking at that quote:  "Today is not the day to quit.  Tomorrow doesn't look good either." thinking to myself - yup I've said that when I'm getting ready to quit and haven't gotten up the guts yet.  Saw it as excuse making.  And then I re-read it and saw the other perspective:  today is not the day to give up your quit, nor is tomorrow.  Which is the way I assume you meant it.  I just found it really interesting how different perceptions can totally change the meaning of words.

Kind of like this saying:  "When nothing is certain, everything is possible."  You could look at that with excitement and hope, or you could look at it with fear and dread.
