Give and get support around quitting

Am I too late?

I discovered becomeanex.org a couple days ago, but didn't have a chance to peruse and study the program at that time. I am having cancer surgery -- skin type -- this Thursday, Nov. 5th -- and the dermatologists office told me no alcohol and no smoking two days prior and for seven days after. Like, it was nothing and going to be nothing. Like not eating after midnight for a blood test or something.
Anyhow, I learned just today that I was supposed to be keeping a record of my smoking and triggers and urge levels for three days, then practice "separation" techniques, etc., prior to attempting to quit. Well, tomorrow is the day and I've not done either. Guess I'll be trying cold turkey -- something I've often said could succeed given the DESIRE.
My question: what portion of the becomeanex program should I focus on if I want to make the attempt over the next nine days? (PS ...don't like the idea of medication at all.)
