Discuss different approaches to quitting, including medication
Hi all,
I'm still not smoking. I'm still excited and very motivated. I have been eating much smarter, I also have been walking on my breaks and on my lunch. Can anyone give good advise on snack ideas for my lunch break? I don't like to eat a heavy meal at lunch time.
Here's some of my lighter meals:
* Salad with lots of chopped veggies (radish, celery, green onion, bell pepper, cucumber, green onion, parsley) and hard-boiled eggs with a fat-free vinagrette dressing.
* Low-fat plain yogurt, chopped apple and walnuts, sprinkled with some brown sugar (you can use stevia if you want to be REALLY good).
* Salad (baby greens or spinach) with chopped chicken breast, red grapes halved, feta cheese, celery, green onion and vinagrette dressing.
*RyVita with tuna or egg salad
*Apple quartered and some extra-sharp cheddar cheese (not too much cheese ).
*Cottage cheese and black olives (sliced).
I don't know why I never tried cottage cheese and black olives before...because I love both! That will definitely be a part of my rotation
