Chickens can lay shell-less eggs

Apparently your chickens can lay shell less eggs. If they are lacking calcium or if they are startled around the time they are laying or if the scraps u give them have to much salt. I had one that did that twice. So I did my research and stopped giving as much scraps. And it hasn't happened since. We are still getting 8 a day.
