Since I stepped into the role of EX Admin, I’ve fielded many excellent suggestions for ways to make the EX Community easier to navigate. The team at Legacy/EX has been working hard to incorporate some of your suggestions, along with a fresh look. We’re planning on rolling out the changes around December 18th, so—heads up—there may be some slowness or downtime as we flip switches, twist knobs and dials, unplug and re-plug in our computers and polish the improved EX Community.
To help streamline things here, we will be making one major change: The forums will be taken out. Ultimately, there are only a few people who visit them regularly, and they were a frequent cause of confusion for new members. Not to worry, the groups, blogs and the rest will remain unchanged. The other noticeable change we’re making is to the homepage of the Community. We’re organizing the information there to make it easier for new members to register. We think these changes will make it simpler for everyone to maneuver around and find the types of content they’re looking for as they continue on the path to a smoke-free life.
