Ryan11 My birthday was May 10th. I'm 29 now and smoke free! I wished I hadn't wasted all that money and time smoking because I thought eventually life would become easier! I thought when it did, then I would quit. What a lie to tell yourself. Life is what it is and getting past an addiction only makes it more difficult for a short time. Life is there before and after I quit. It's no easier or harder now. Challenges occur regularly and I am now dealing with them smoke free and focusing on healthier ways to deal with stress. Walking my dog everyday, for his health, has had a very positive effect on my mood and handling stress in better ways. I hope other people struggling with quitting might find some inspiration. Make battle plans, not excuses. You can do it!
