Hey Sally, will the TIFT Tour was a great experience. 70th year for the tour'n, we check in $200. then buckets for drawings cool stuff prints, bronze marlin an other $40., should have taken photos. Then bought our boat for the calcuta or challengefor $260 across the board would have been $400 each.
2 days tour'n weighting in one trout, one red and one flounder each day and the highest total weight wins. We had fish the first day to weigh in and the second day to windy. So when did't make any money. There was 213 boats in the bay div and 170 offshore about half of what it ussually is for offshore, so the first place offshore went to a boat call MOJO from Dallas 6 sailfish won $184k and no marlin brought in this year so it went to the next bill fish and a lot of other fish catch paid about $9k for the largest tuna and so now. Anyway the bay div paid pretty good first place for flounder went to some young kids 19 or20 years 1st,2nd and 3rd and were to young for the calcuta so my friend won $6k not bad. If we had 2 redfish like in my picture we would be $6k richer. Anyway back in McAllen need to make some money, the Lady King Fishing Tour'n this weekend and trying to talk Christine in to fishing it. Two day tour'n kick our butt, we surrender about 3:30 Sat while drinking a cold beer off of one of our honey holes called Long Bar. Talk to ya later..
