Jersey-Girl
Hi Jersey Girl,

"One puff away from a pack a day" is what I've been taught. It's amazing that people can't quit because they're sick, they can't quit for their kids, bottom line, they can't quit until they want to quit more than they want to smoke. I can't give real advice because I tried to quit many many times. So far this time, today is 4 months since I quit. I always quit at night so I get up in the a.m. with 6 or 8 hours cigarette free. But everyone's different. I really found out this week that it doesn't matter what's going on (and I broke up with a long term boyfriend) that you absolutely do not have to smoke. Why don't you cut out a picture of that beautiful child and stick it in the plastic on both sides of your cigarette pack.

I used Chantix by the way -- but I understand that it has side effects for some people.

The most important thing is if you have to get up every single day and try again, just DON'T STOP TRYING!!!!
