_T_4 HI! I am so glad to hear you mention how much the stess affect us. Out of all my triggers that is truly what has been the toughest to overcome. It seems like as soon as something stressful or unexpected derails me that my automatic reflex is to look for my cigs. Then I too try to remember that even they won't change what is happening. Our minds are so trained by habit that we do so many things without analyzing why. I am sure most people find that quitting is easier than facing why you smoke to begin with. 🙂 Today was much easier for me. I kept busy but I am not sure if that was the only reason why. I know this...if each day improves from one to the next as it has then I will never miss smoking again!
