I got a puppy to keep me busy and not smoke cigarettes.

Way to go.  Works for me.  I lost my Cloud  during my early quit, but I have Charlie now to keep me going.   Those dogs (and cats) have a lot of influence over who we are.   They can help us quit, but they are also a reason to quit!  Walking is so helpful with a quit , but walking with a dog is heaven.
