When my potatoes Grow Eyes

Eye get movin!

Potatoes were hard to find for a couple of weeks.

I noticed mine were growing eyes and I don't want to waste them.

Hmmm...What could I use them for?

I scored a 12 pound ham Tuesday!

Scalloped potatoes with ham?

Never made it before.

I have potatoes

I have ham

I have 3 cups of half and half

I have an onion I can cut the good parts of up.

I have flour

I found Swiss cheese & French fried onions to put on top

I'll layer it like lasagna!

Yum.  But oh my the calories.  Plant them eyes.  They may give you a munch more taters!

I just gave a large serving to my brother.

What's left will make at least 4 more meals for me.

Gyurere cheese is the best on Scalloped potatoes and I use sweetened condensed milk!

Not making this year....but hey I will eat yours look yummy
