That's pretty scary if they didn't change anything and don't know why it changed or healed itself.

Not scary. It only started happening right after the last site update.  Intermittent issues happen all the time. Some you notice and others you don't. Some are self correcting and others are not.  Unfortunately it has been evasive and because it has self corrected two times they hadn't been able to root cause previously. Hopefully this time it was possible.
