I noticed the following and wondered if it's simply peculiar to Android communication? Or Is it normal if one responds directly from their email inbox? Mark

Solved! Go to Solution.
Couple issues going on here.
All issues with the Yahoo! Mail app for Android.
1. Reply by email doesn't get delivered to correct address.
2. Doesn't know where to cut off and only put the actual comment/response.
User might also have used Reply All instead of just reply.
Instead of using the Yahoo! Mail app you can use the Gmail app on an Android phone and set up your Yahoo! Mail account. It works a lot better this way for search and also you don't have this issue.

Thank you!
Another thing is that you can put in 5 underscores after your entry and it will not post anything below the 5 underscores (_____). This is good if you have a signature on your phone or on your computer. This way if you respond, your signature isn't included in the message. So I don't forget I include the 5 underscores at the top of my signature.
Example email:
Thanks Giulia!
_____
<email header info OR Signature>
Actual Post:
Thanks Giulia!
Reply by Email without Signature here is a separate help document that addresses signatures and the email notification artifacts.
Well who woulda thunk it. 5 little underscores.
