The Freedom Train is on the tracks and prepared to make its daily run to freedom from smoking. Everyone is invited to come aboard to celebrate their own personal freedom and that of their friends!

Let us hear from you, and let us all celebrate our freedom. Post food and music - IT IS PARTY TIME! This train is bound for FREEDOM from the evils of tobacco and smoking.

If you are new here, this vehicle provides a place for everyone to gather to celebrate the milestones and successes of those in our community. There are no tickets. The fuel for this locomotive is love and caring. The rides on this train are paid for in contributions to the quits of others! The only thing required to ride this train is a desire to breathe free. We encourage everyone to join in the celebration. No matter where you are in your quit, today is special, and is cause for celebration! Celebrate with others, and they will celebrate with you! There are no baggage fees; bring all your "EXtra baggage" and we will help you sort it out.

How do I count my days?

From time to time we have questions about counting days. While we encourage everyone to celebrate every day of their freedom, here on the Freedom Train we count the days you have completed. For example, pir8fan quit on 01/01/2010. On 12/31/2010 he had reached 365 days. However, he had not completed a year until 01/01/2011.

Congrats kristen-9.7.15 on 700 days!  That kind of number used to be just a dream to me.  Now it's looking more and more like a place I'll be sooner than I think.

Thanks for the ride YoungAtHeart .  I went to Italy for 10 days in 2015.  It is my new favorite place!  But be warned, if you order a coffee there, it will not be what you are used to if you're from the US.  I learned very quickly to order Cafe Americana instead of coffee (cafe).

Thanks for picking me up YoungAtHeart‌, looks like the weather forecast was right on today...dark, dreary, raining.  I haven't heard any thunder but it sure is WET out there.  I have never been to Italy and have always wanted to go there...I KNOW I love the food!  HUGE congratulations to kristen-9.7.15  on 700 GLORIOUS days!  So happy for you.

I missed the train yesterday so sorry but congrats to the mile stoners that I missed ! thanks for picking me up Nancy glad I hopped on or I would have missed Italy and more importantly kristen_9.7.15  Big Day   another one of my 2015 Quit buddies !!! Last week France this week Italy this is exciting !

kristen-9.7.15 , hearty congratulations to my Quit Buddy for a splendiferous, awesome, Exceptional, amazing 700 days of freedom and counting. We are quickly approaching the magical 2 year anniversary. Yipee for us! Thanks for the beautiful scenery and delicious unidentified food YoungAtHeart . Italian food is my second favorite (Texans are quite fond of Mexican first and foremost). So whatever is there, I'm sure it is delicious. I'm Karen and I have 717 days.
