Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking

This is simply an Amazon link to Allen Carr's book which is talked about and recommended all over this site.  Wanted to make it easy to find.  What a better place than in Best of EX.  (You can find a free pdf of it which you can download  if you do a search on the internet.)

FOR SOME it'll work

I read it front to back, twice! It never did a thing for me the 1st time nor the 2nd time.

Well at least you gave it a double try.  Many people find that it gives them a different perspective.  And sometimes a new perspective can be one of the keys to jump starting a quit.

I definitely learned a few things, but I'm not a big fan either.  I totally disagree with the premise that it's easy. He actually has other books that  everything is easy to do.  I do credit him for the knowledge that cigarettes are designed to make us go through withdrawal after each cigarette and therefore we need another in a short period of time.
