Painting favorite subject matter

Taking a break from Elder painting ( Sudies is started though)....meanwhile returning to my favorite subject matter. This is a commissioned Oil recently finished. Painting is a soul soother for me and painting horses especially  I do enjoy the Elder painting though and will re-start them after Holidays

Mandolinrain  The horse is beautiful .   I keep reading "soul soother" and then I look at the painting  Maybe it's to early in the morning for me but I wonder how much of your energy, soul heart are in the painting the colors you choose. I just wonder what a artist feels when they start, and what they feel while painting or when they finish. Most of all when you depart with the painting   I might just be babbling due to the time   But it is a Beautiful Painting
