Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. Worked at Pella Windows and Doors Corp for 14 years and the VA Medical Center in Des Moines and Knoxville Ia, and Roseburg VA in Oregon until retiring. I moved to Oregon 9/16/2001. Married my soulmate July 3, 2004! I adopted 3 children, brother and sisters in 1981 at 6, 8, 10. Best decision of my life. I also raised twin girls and a a boy since ages 5 and 8! I have 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren with the 3rd due Nov 2! I've lived a great and mostly happy life and want to continue that! I was diagnosed with stage 1 emphysema yesterday so quitting smoking is now a must to stop the progression. Sadly my lungs will not repair themselves but I can keep them from getting worse!
