Medications

Well, during the Covid lock down I was finding it very hard to quit.  I was actually smoking more.  My gym was closed and I had to work from home.  I was bored.  The good news is that I am back into a gym and working out.  It makes me feel better, and I did ask my doctor for help.  He gave me Zyban.  Has anyone had any luck with this?  Does anyone know what the success rate is on this medication?  Good luck to you all! Darren

It is so, Nancy and glad I took this opportunity to be sure you were aware of it. Love you and your input. I consider you a wise sage. (Notice I took out the old from the traditional phrase "wise old sage" as you are truly a youngatheart

Like Barb, I also used Wellbutrin. I successfully quit after smoking for 40 years. I credit this site the most for my success - but, certainly Wellbutrin helped too.
Stick around - you can do this!

If you click on anyone's avatar or name (including your own) you will be taken to their/your home page.  From there you can click on Activity or Content and see their/your blogs/discussions, etc.

Some of the "great literature" on here can be found in Best of EX‌ which you can get to from the main HOME page of the community.  See the big square with the Star?  Click on it.

Also, the magnifying glass on the upper right is very helpful.  Just put in a couple of words for what you searching, and there will be options that pop up.

It's not the NRT that is successful. You have to make it succeed.
