*Start with a plan: when and how you are going to do it

Make a vow and commit to it.

Ask questions, and offer support by telling your experience

Type HELP if you need it someone will respond

Blog your journey it helps, your written history, you will not regret it.

* Learn self Talk -  e.i. "I don't do that anymore"

Hang tough, it is doable if you never give up, never give in. NMW (no matter what)

Make a vow no matter what NOPE, not one puff ever.

Bookmarked!  Thank you, Jackie!  Going to check out the breathing exercises when I get home from running errands this morning.  I KNOW I could have used them earlier this week (I DID do some belly breaths ) and I will continue to need them moving forward.

Great summary of what it takes, I will look at this again and again and review the resources, too.  Becoming smug about being smober is a recipe for potential relapse--NO, NO, NEVER AGAIN, NOT ME, NOT ONE PUFF EVER AGAIN !
