The Basics: Report Abuse

Should you come across content in The EX Community that violates the BecomeAnEX Community Guidelines , you're encouraged to report it as abuse to submit for moderation. It is recommended that you do not react to the content as it often incites further issues.

When content is reported for moderation, it will still be viewable unless multiple reports have been made on the same item. The Community Manager and other moderators receive a notification to review the post. Next, the Community Manager reviews the content and determines whether the content is:

  • Approved without edits
  • Approved with edits
  • Rejected for re-submission
  • Rejected and removed

On all content and individual comments and replies, you'll find: Report Abuse.

Full Content

To submit the Blog, Document, Discussion, Video, Poll content for moderation, click Report Abuse under Actions. Upon clicking Report Abuse, you'll be asked to identify the type of abuse and provide the option to enter a note to share additional details with the Community Manager.

Individual Reply or Comment

To submit only a reply or comment posted to a piece of content, click Report Abuse under Actions within that reply or comment. Upon clicking Report Abuse, you'll be asked to identify the type of spam and an option to enter a note or share additional details with the Community Manager.
