I happened to see one for sale at Guitar Center and watch the video. They wanted $2000 for one. I found them on ebay and etsy for $800+

I found tongue drums at etsy for $200+

So they are steel drums just not like the hollow ones played with sticks that I grew up with in Jamaica.
