I believe it's someone who can look himself in the mirror and sleeps well at night because he's honest and keeps his promises.
I wrote this song in the late 1970's. This performance was in 1979, 40 years ago, so, the quality is not so great.
Someone on facebook gave me a link to a 2 hour show I performed in. She'd watched it and contacted me to tell me how she was struck by this song. I didn't even know they'd filmed the show. I cut the song from the two hours.
