6 years or so back, a friend of someone on this site asked me to write a song for her dying mother for Mothers Day.
I asked her for some rough ideas. She wanted it positive and hopeful.
I found this video in my email today and thought I'd share it with those who have lost someone recently and could use some positive affirmation.
Lyrics and chords BELOW.
Thanks, Dale. Glad I clicked on, I needed this, thanks.
Oh wow Dale, this is beautiful! Your so gifted with your music, Im sure this song was exactly what your friend needed to hear and was a blessing for her...., thanks for sharing....its just so awesome!!! xoxo
Beautiful, Dale -- I had no idea you had this talent as well! I grew up in Pittsburgh, and while I'm not Jewish I had (and still have) friends who were bar or bat mitzvah'd or married at Tree of Life, and I've been crying pretty much since Saturday. This reminded me of the goodness in the world. Thank you.
This deeply moves me. Cheeks are being watered. Thank you.
That was wonderful Dale. Made me cry thinking about all the people I've lost in my life.
STUNNING, Dale, thank you so much for sharing this. We ALL need it.
