I already know the answer to this, but I think I've finally figured out the confusion. So here it goes: If I publish a blog under Conversations, why isn't it showing up on the home page on the right-hand side under Recent Conversations since it was published under that category?
See what you think, but I think instead of having it as Recent Conversations as the title on the right-hand side, it should have Recent Activity or some such. I don't know. What do you think?
I agree the use of "Conversations" could be refined. We didn't want to put in "Recently Active Discussions, Questions and Status Updates". Both the Blogs widget and the Discussions/Questions/Status Updates widget show content posted from across the whole site. As someone else mentioned, you see the location of where exactly it is posted right under the title.
Conversations is a Community that houses multiple different content types(Blogs, Questions, Discussions, Polls, Documents, Videos). It's not a "Category". Think of it more as a location.
Maybe we could remove the ability to blog in Conversations and only allow blogging in Groups and Personal blogs. Then a majority of the Blogs will show up in member's personal blogs. As of right now a majority of the content is being posted in Conversations as a question or a discussion.
